The first customer examples of the Zeekr 7X mid-size electric SUV are weeks away, as buyers form a queue – despite having yet to test drive it.

More than 2000 Australians have pre-ordered the 2026 Zeekr 7X electric SUV ahead of the first local deliveries mid next month.
The first 1000 deposits for Zeekr’s third model in Australia and first mid-size SUV were taken in the seven days after orders opened last month.
Test drives are due to commence on October 6, as the first production right-hand-drive 7X vehicles are en route to dealers now, ahead of deliveries commencing on October 15.
Zeekr says all customers who have ordered so far will receive their vehicles before the end of 2025, and that it is working with head office in China to secure additional supply for pre-orders to come.
Prices start from $57,900 plus on-road costs for the standard-range Zeekr 7X RWD, up to $63,900 for the Long Range AWD, and $72,900 for the Performance AWD.
Included in orders placed by August 17 was a seven-year warranty (up from five), seven years of roadside assistance (also up from five years), a 7kW home charger, Type 2 charging cable, 10-amp 'mini portable' charging cable, and all exterior/interior colours for free.
Deposits placed between August 18 and September 30, 2025, will still include the free charging cables and vehicle colour options, but not the wallbox, warranty or roadside assistance extras.
