A stolen Lamborghini Urus crashed in Glen Waverley after evading police for 15 hours.

The Urus was stolen from a home on The Esplanade in the inner-western Melbourne suburb of Maribyrnong in the early hours of Thursday March 12, before crashing into a fence on Myers Avenue in Glen Waverley that afternoon.

Images shared online of the crashed Urus show the vehicle’s airbags had been deployed upon crashing.

Victoria Police said the vehicle was allegedly seen driving recklessly on highways and over footpaths as it evaded them throughout the day.

The driver, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested at the scene with no injuries. Police believe three other offenders are outstanding.

The Lamborghini Urus is an SUV from the Italian brand known for its Huracan and Aventador supercars. The 2026 Urus is priced at $457,834 before on-road costs.

Videos that appear to be filmed and posted by the thieves of the Urus surfaced online yesterday, showing the stolen vehicle being driven during the early morning and day.
