Early April date locked in for expanded 2026 Melbourne Motor Show that is expected to see attendance figures hit 100,000.
The 2026 Melbourne Motor Show has locked in a three-day April weekend for its second running under new management after the success of this year’s event.
Taking place from April 10-12, 2026, the 2026 Melbourne Motor Show will nearly double its show space and encompass all 20 Convention Centre bays to accommodate a larger crowd.
The 2025 event was held over 11 bays, and the two-day event sold all tickets with more than 45,000 attendees in early April.
According to event organiser Craig Phinn, an additional 37,000 people looked to purchase tickets despite the 2025 Melbourne Motor Show selling out, while next year’s event is expected to see 100,000 people come through its doors.
Amongst the OEM car brands, floor space was also taken up with other automotive-related vendors and aftermarket suppliers, as well as Hot Wheels and Lego to attract families.
Phinn said 60 businesses have already re-signed for next year’s event, and the expanded floor space will allow even more brands to come on board.
