Hyundai has reduced pricing across petrol, hybrid and electric variants of the Kona small SUV, along with the base model Inster EV.
Hyundai has introduced discounts for the Kona and Inster small SUVs, with savings ranging from $500 to over $13,000 depending on model.
In an attempt to keep sales momentum into the new year, Hyundai will offer drive-away deals on the Kona until the end of the first quarter of 2026 (January to March).
The new drive-away pricing for the Kona range sees the base model Kona 2.0L petrol start from $36,490 during January 2026, before moving up to $36,990 in February and March.
The introductory offer represents a $558 saving, based on a vehicle registered in NSW, or just $58 off for the remainder of the promotion. All other models included in Hyundai’s drive-away reprice will maintain pricing from now until the end of March.
The Kona Hybrid base model moves to a $39,990 drive-away price, a saving of $1178 compared to its regular retail price of $36,950 plus on-road costs.
The largest savings apply to the Hyundai Kona Electric range, with multiple variants included as part of the offer, offering over $13,000 off regular retail pricing.
The Kona Electric Standard Range moves to $45,990 drive-way, while the Extended Range is priced from $49,990 drive-way. Compared to regular retail pricing, the discounts amount to savings of $13,157 and $13,357 respectively, based on NSW registration.
Hyundai has also discounted the Kona Electric N Line ($54,990 drive-away), Kona Electric Premium ($59,990 drive-away), and Kona Electric Premium N Line ($63,990 drive-away) with savings ranging from $13,007 to $13,857 depending on the variant.
Hyundai’s other compact electric SUV, the Inster, also gets repriced as part of the promotional offer.
The entry-level Inster Standard Range, normally priced from $39,000 plus on-road costs, has been reduced to $35,990 drive-away, undercutting its end-of-2025 discount deal by a further $4000.
Hyundai says the current drive-away offer represents a saving of $7288 based on NSW registration.
Drive-away pricing as part of the promotional offer applies nationally for eligible vehicles ordered and delivered before March 31st, 2026 or while stocks last. The discounts are not available to fleet, government, or rental purchasers.
