The Chinese brand is offering all-wheel-drive variants of the Haval H6 at the same price as two-wheel-drive grades.

All-wheel-drive variants of the GWM Haval H6 Hybrid and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) will now cost the same as two-wheel-drive grades for a limited time, a saving of up to $3500, as the brand releases new drive-away prices for 2025-built models until 31 March.
Both Haval H6 Ultra AWD Hybrid and Haval H6 Ultra AWD PHEV models will be discounted to FWD prices at $39,990 and $43,990 drive-away, respectively.
This represents a $3500 saving on GWM Haval H6 Ultra Hybrid variants, which usually cost $43,490 for the all-wheel drive grade, and a $3000 saving on the Haval H6 Ultra AWD PHEV, previously $46,990.
They feature the Chinese brand's Hi4 intelligent all-wheel-drive system, with motors on both the front and rear axles.
The system also features electronic torque distribution to continuously evaluate road conditions and switch between all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive when required, according to GWM.
Haval H6 Ultra Hybrid variants are powered by a 110kW/240Nm 1.5-litre turbo four-cylinder petrol-electric hybrid engine, and are rated to use 5.4 litres per 100km.
Plug-in hybrid Haval H6 models have a 19.09kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery, rated with 100km of electric-only driving range based on outdated NEDC testing.
GWM has sold 13,217 Haval H6 models in 2025 based on VFACTS sales data, a 6.5 per cent increase over its 2024 number.
So far this year, the Chinese brand has sold 2179 units of the Haval H6 in 2026, to the end of February.
Customers will have to purchase and take delivery of their 2025-build Haval H6 Ultra AWD Hybrid and Haval H6 Ultra AWD PHEV models before 31 March 2026 to qualify for the deal.
