At first glance, it looks like ABN holders score a much sharper deal on new Ford Ranger finance deals, but the numbers don’t make a huge difference for consumers after a good price.
Ford Australia is offering a 1.99 per cent finance rate to ABN holders shopping for a new or demonstrator Ranger, plug-in Ranger Hybrid ute or Transit Custom van.
The offer, requiring a 10 per cent deposit and calculated over a 36-month term, applies to most MY25 Ranger models (excluding XL), and makes a flagship car like the Ranger Hybrid Stormtrak (est. $94,849 drive away) available to ABN holders for about $2445 per month, or $569 per week.
Consumer finance rates on the same vehicles (Ranger, Ranger Hybrid and Transit Custom) are, however, offered at 3.12 per cent over the same term.
The difference in finance rate may look significant (1.13 per cent variance), but the calculation on the same Ranger Hybrid Stormtrak comes to approximately $2487 per month ($42 difference), or less than $10 a week more at the higher interest rate.
The total extra paid by a consumer buyer in this example is estimated at $1524 over the life of the loan.
Additionally, consumers are able to finance some MY25 Everest models (excluding Tremor, Black Edition, and Platinum) and Mustang models (excluding Dark Horse) for the same, lower, 1.99 per cent rate.
Estimated repayments and the variations between the two rates are shown for some example models below.

Ranger Sport | from $73,393 | $1892 | $1924 | $33 |

The offer is available at participating dealers until 30 September 2025, and the commercial finance deal is not applicable to fleet, government or rental buyers.
As with all finance offers, the specifics will depend on your personal situation, so please contact your accountant or finance manager before committing to any vehicle finance contract.
