Phone and electronics giant Xiaomi has become the first Chinese company to reveal a 'Vision' hypercar concept for the PlayStation racing game Gran Turismo.

Xiaomi's Vision GT was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2026 expo in Barcelona, Spain, and aims to give the world an idea of what a hypercar from the Chinese phone brand could look like.

The Vision GT is claimed to run on a 900-volt silicon-carbide EV architecture and has been speculated to produce 1900hp (1416kW) from its all-electric drivetrain, though no official performance figures were released.

It claims a drag coefficient of 0.29cd and uses venturi tunnels to channel air through and under the car to increase downforce, similar to F1 cars.

The rear end circles the taillight around the exit of the venturi tunnels, while the front end leans on motorport design with a carbon fibre splitter and LED headlights incorporated into the nose.

Its carbon ceramic brakes have been covered by a set of turbine fan wheels, with floating covers

The interior is designed to fit two occupants, with a full-width heads-up display and a yoke-shaped steering wheel similar to those in GT race cars, which has five small screens included in its design.

The Vision GT is due to be added to Gran Turismo games over the coming weeks, as it races alongside the other Vision Gran Turismo (VGT) cars, high-performance concept vehicles with extreme levels of downforce and power.

Other 'Vision' concepts in Gran Turismo 7 include the Dodge SRT Tomahawk X VGT, Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo, Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo SV, and laser-powered Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo.
