Audi's next-generation Q3 SUV is due in Australia by mid-2026, headlined by a 195kW flagship with "near S-model levels of performance".
Australian pricing and specifications for the 2026 Audi Q3 SUV and Sportback have been confirmed ahead of showroom arrivals between April and June.
Priced from $61,600 before on-road costs, the 2026 Q3 will be offered with three engines – a 110kW 1.5-litre mild-hybrid, a 150kW 2.0-litre and a 195kW 2.0-litre – mirroring its Cupra Terramar relation.
Audi Australia has increased pricing between $600 and $2900 over equivalent versions of the outgoing model, with the largest increase applied to the TFSI 110kW, which gains a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.
Plug-in hybrid technology – delivering up to 200 kilowatts of total system output in Europe – has not been locked in for Australia, but it could join the local range at a later date.
The Q3 and Q3 Sportback will arrive in Australia at the same time, Audi has confirmed, with the latter body style incurring a $3000 premium over its SUV counterpart, down from $3500.
Standard equipment in the Q3 TFSI 110kW, shifting from a 1.4-litre turbo-engine and six-speed dual-clutch automatic to a 1.5-litre unit with a seven-speed dual-clutch, includes a 12.8-inch MMI infotainment touchscreen, a 10-speaker, 260-watt audio system, and a wireless smartphone charger with a cooling fan.
It also features an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, colour ambient interior lighting, power-adjustable front seats with driver memory, adaptive LED headlights with three selectable DRL patterns, and rear illuminated Audi rings.
All Q3 Sportbacks add S line exterior styling as standard, which is also fitted to the 150kW quattro and 195kW quattro Q3 SUVs.
Launch Edition versions of the Q3 TFSI 110kW and TFSI 150kW quattro will be available, adding 19-inch alloy wheels, standard metallic paint, red brake calipers, black exterior styling, adaptive dampers, and an S line exterior for the 110kW SUV.
The 150kW/320Nm 2.0-litre turbo in the Q3 TFSI 150kW quattro succeeds the 132kW/320Nm Q3 40 TFSI for between $600 and $700 more, while the 195kW/400Nm Q3 TFSI 195kW quattro shares its powertrain with the Cupra Terramar VZ and Volkswagen Tiguan 195TSI R-Line.
Audi said the TFSI 195kW quattro – which also adds more standard equipment such as a panoramic glass roof, 12 Sonos speakers, and a heated steering wheel – delivers "near S-model levels of performance" with a 5.7-second 0-100km/h acceleration claim.
The Q3 TFSI 195kW quattro is priced from $81,900, $8410 more than the Terramar VZ and $10,350 more than the Tiguan 195TSI R-Line.
Growing in size, the new-generation Q3 now straddles the bottom end of the medium SUV segment, measuring 4531mm long (+36mm), 1859mm wide (+6mm) and 1628mm tall (+14mm) with a 2681mm wheelbase (+2mm).
The 2026 Audi Q3 and 2026 Audi Q3 Sportback will arrive in Australian showrooms between April and June, with further details – such as a full specification list, available option packages and exterior paint choices – due to be shared closer to their launch.
