Now available from $40,000 drive-away as part of a special offer, the Jeep Avenger Longitude is now the most affordable all-electric SUV in Australia.
Jeep Australia has cut around $16,000 off its Avenger electric car as part of the brand’s end-of-financial-year (EOFY) specials, now available from $40,000 drive-way.
The offer is applicable to the base Avenger Longitude grade, which wears a recommended retail price of $49,990 before on-road costs, with premium paint, a $990 optional extra, which would normally cost buyers just over $56,000 drive-away in Victoria.
While Jeep Australia has not detailed specific savings on the mid-spec Limited (with an RRP of $54,990 before on-road costs) and top-spec Summit ($60,990), the SUV brand states “substantial factory bonuses” are on offer at the discretion of the local dealer.
If customers can negotiate the same levels of savings on Limited and Summit grades of the Avenger, the drive-away price would come down to around $45,000 and $51,000 respectively.
This now makes the entry-level Avenger the cheapest all-electric SUV in Australia, more affordable than the Hyundai Inster (from $39,000 before on-road costs), BYD Atto 3 (from $39,990) and Hyundai Kona EV (from $54,000) – although the latter two are a size up from the Jeep EV.
The Avenger also undercuts the MG 4 (about $41,156 drive-away when not on special for $36,990), but still pricier than the GWM Ora ($35,990) and BYD Dolphin (from $29,990 before on-road costs).
Regardless of Avenger grade, all feature a single 115kW/260Nm electric motor that drives the front wheels.
All three Jeep Avengers are also fitted with a 51kWh battery with a claimed driving range on the WLTP test cycle of 391km to 396km, depending on model grade.
Differentiating the three are standard equipment levels, with highlights including a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, reversing camera, and push-button start.

Jeep Australia’s only full-electric model was confirmed for Australian showrooms in early 2024 initially starting from $53,990 before on-road costs for the base Longitude, but the brand cut $4000 from the original price just before launching.
Similarly, the Limited and Summit grades dropped $3000 from the initial $57,990 and $63,990 respectively.
After four months of trading, Jeep has registered just seven new Avenger sales in 2025, according to VFACTS data, putting it far behind the market-leading – and more expensive – Tesla Model Y that has reported 3394 deliveries to the end of April.
