Until August 31, 2025, discounts apply to Model Year 2024 stock of the JAC T9 ute, with the entry-level variant available for $39,990 drive-away, representing a saving of around $5000.
The 2025 JAC T9 ute is now offered with drive-away pricing until the end of next month to clear Model Year 2024 stock.
JAC T9 utes sold between July 1, 2025, and August 31, 2025, receive savings of around $5000 over their usual on-the-road cost, with the base Oasis available for $39,990 in all states and territories except Western Australia, and $40,990 in WA.
The T9 Oasis usually retails for $42,662 before on-road costs – or around $45,000 to $47,000 drive-away, depending on the state or territory of purchase.
It now undercuts the GWM Cannon four-wheel-drive dual-cab, which starts from $40,490 drive-away for private buyers – though discounts are available for ABN holders, moving it to $38,300.
JAC is offering its T9 Haven for $43,990 drive-away – or $44,990 in Western Australia – down from $45,630 before on-road costs, or between $48,500 and $50,500 drive-away.
The JAC T9 arrived in Australia in September 2024, a few months later than anticipated, with a 3000-kilogram braked towing capacity – down from the 3500kg limit previously announced.
It offers a 125kW/410Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission, with a part-time four-wheel-drive system, low-range transfer case, and locking rear differential.
VFACTS new-car sales data shows 789 JAC T9s were reported as sold between January and May 2025, behind its GWM Cannon (3675), LDV T60 Max (1946) and KGM Musso (882) rivals, along with familiar names such as the Ford Ranger (22,018) and Toyota HiLux (20,072).
JAC calls the T9 "Australia's safest ute" based on the weighted average score of equivalent models tested by ANCAP under its most recent 2023 to 2025 testing criteria.
Its weighted average score of 87 per cent compares to the GWM Cannon Alpha's 85 per cent, BYD Shark 6's 83 per cent and Mitsubishi Triton's 79.5 per cent – the only other utes tested to ANCAP's 2023-2025 criteria.
